Project AIROC: The Reality of Urban Air Mobility, Defence and public security

Flying Closer with AIROC.

Urban Air Mobility (UAM), once the realm of science fiction, is swiftly becoming a reality in cities around the world. With the advent of innovative platforms like AIROC (Air over the City), autonomous air transportation is poised to revolutionize urban mobility in the near future. As we witness the dawn of this transformative technology, the potential benefits of UAM—from financial savings to traffic alleviation—are boundless.

Breaking Down Barriers: The Promise of UAM

Urban congestion, gridlocked streets, and interminable commutes have long plagued the world’s largest cities. UAM offers a tantalizing solution to these perennial problems by taking to the skies and bypassing traditional ground-based transportation constraints. With AIROC leading the charge, UAM promises to deliver swift, efficient, and eco-friendly transportation solutions that seamlessly integrate into urban landscapes.

Financial Savings and Reduced Risk

From a financial perspective, UAM holds the key to substantial cost savings for both individuals and businesses. By reducing travel time and eliminating the need for expensive ground infrastructure, UAM offers a more economical mode of transportation compared to traditional methods. Moreover, autonomous operations minimize the risk of human error, enhancing safety and reducing insurance premiums—a win-win for operators and passengers alike.

Time is Money: The Value of Efficiency

In a world where time is of the essence, UAM offers a welcome reprieve from the tyranny of traffic jams and long commutes. With AIROC’s fleet of unmanned air vehicles (UAVs) capable of delivering packages to multiple locations within a 10 km radius, time-sensitive deliveries can be completed in a fraction of the time required by ground-based couriers. Whether it’s urgent medical supplies or last-minute deliveries, UAM ensures that goods reach their destination swiftly and efficiently.

Healing Urban Congestion: A Breath of Fresh Air

Perhaps the most significant benefit of UAM is its potential to alleviate urban congestion and reduce traffic congestion. By taking to the skies, UAM vehicles can bypass congested roadways, easing the strain on existing transportation infrastructure and improving overall mobility in densely populated urban areas. With AIROC’s smart operational models and fleet of UAVs, cities can look forward to a future where traffic jams are a thing of the past.

The Billion-Dollar Industry on the Horizon

As UAM gains momentum, the financial prospects for the industry are nothing short of staggering. With a projected rise to multi-billion dollar volumes in a short time frame, the UAM industry is poised for explosive growth. Continuous advancements in vehicle technology and operational models, coupled with favorable CAGR indicators, underscore the immense potential of UAM as a viable mode of urban transportation.

In Conclusion, with AIROC leading the charge, Urban Air Mobility is poised to revolutionize urban transportation as we know it. By offering financial savings, reducing risk, improving efficiency, and alleviating urban congestion, UAM promises to usher in a new era of mobility and connectivity in cities around the world. As we look to the skies, the future of transportation has never looked brighter.

With our vehicle tracking and communication system which is completely integrated as a U-SPACE application, we can provide a seamless operational intelligence to the service. Also maintenance and safety-security points.

SID application is the UI of UAM operations and tracking system of AIROC platform.

System has a self training (both supervised and reinforcement learning) modals for improving especially the safety-security and efficiency metrics. We have managed many operations and testing performances since 2020 with SID application. SID has a 5G integrated framework.

One of the research and development study we carry out within the scope of the AIROC project is urban airspace planning. It is the most critical point of enabling the operations, since the airspace designs of cities must be carried out. Safety-security studies come first in this design work. Within the scope of AIROC, there are many studies that need to be done for the city, from technical-operational improvements to efficiency analyses.
